The Company identified a pressing need for housing, in the Country, resulting in the entry to this sector. Incorporated in 1995, the Company decided to focus on, well designed and constructed housing for the middle and upper segments of the market. Thus, limited projects are undertaken to create more value for customers with emphasis on quality.

Several low cost housing projects have been completed over the period in Battaramulla, Piliyandala, Kottawa and Athurigiriya, which are popular suburbs in Colombo. The projects included development of the property and the construction of dwellings to blend with the local surroundings. Customization has been accommodated in most projects in keeping with requirements of home¬owners.

The houses were designed and constructed with longevity and comfort in mind. Home¬owners are provided a broad cost framework and style guideline, which is a unique feature of the Company.

Encouraged by success, the Company has also embarked on two major projects including `Metro Residencies' with condominium style accommodation on a prime location in the heart of Colombo, targeting the luxury house segment. The other is the development of a property in the South, which is a possible, eco friendly development project, ideally suited for commercial purposes, though plans are yet to be finalized.

Every Metropolitan project has a unique style and is custom built for the customer, a clear differentiation from a myriad other firms engaged in mass scale property development and construction. The prospects are bright and the Company is committed to excel in this sector.
